Your photo driver licence contains a variety of information about you. It shows your full name, your date of birth, the types of vehicle you are lawfully allowed to drive and whether you hold a full, restricted or learner licence for those vehicles. If there are any conditions attached to your licence - such as the requirement that you wear glasses - these will also appear. As your photo driver licence is evidence of your entitlement to drive, you must carry it with you every time you drive on public roads.
