Waikato Expressway: Cambridge Section works south of Tamahere

The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise motorists planning to travel along State Highway 1 between Hamilton at Cambridge, that speed restriction and manual traffic operations will be in place next week as part of ongoing preliminary work to construct the Cambridge Section of the Waikato Expressway.

Tree felling work on State Highway 1 between Pencarrow Road and Discombe Road will start from Monday 2 December and continue until Friday 6 December, the speed limit will be reduced from 100 km/h to 30 km/h with manual stop/go traffic management in place from 9.00am to 4.00pm.

This work is weather dependent, and if wet, the work will commence on the next fine day.

The Transport Agency thanks motorists for their patience and ongoing co-operation while this work is being carried out.
