The National Land Transport Programme (NLTP) is our key commitment with the sector for how we will use national land transport funding to provide all users of the transport system with a safe, integrated network they can rely on.
Following on from the November NLTP Dialogues, this information has been developed as a starting point for conversations between the Transport Agency’s regional staff and our regional partners (particularly Approved Organisations and Regional Transport Committees) as they work through the process of completing their Regional Land Transport Plan reviews to feed into the development of the 2018-21 National Land Transport Programme (NLTP).
This information has been developed to support Approved Organisations (AOs) and Regional Transport Committees (RTCs) who are developing or reviewing their Regional Land Transport Plans (RLTPs), and preparing to feed into the 2018-21 NLTP.
This timeline outlines the key high-level dates, milestones and deadlines for the development of the 2018-21 NLTP.
The Business Case Approach (BCA) is the way the transport sector plans, develops and invests in transport activities for the upcoming 2018-2021 NLTP.
The State highway Investment Proposal is the proposed national business case for the next ten years of activity on our state highways. It forms the state highway funding bid through the NLTP.
We’re making improvements in our investment decision making system.
