Allow extra time when travelling on SH2 Papamoa

|

The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists to allow extra time when travelling on State Highway 2 (SH2) between Te Maunga (Baypark) and the Domain Road roundabout tomorrow as road resurfacing work continues.

The resurfacing is part of planned works for the Tauranga Eastern Link (TEL) project and is expected to be completed tomorrow (Wednesday 11 February).

The work will cause short delays to traffic travelling east towards Papamoa from Tauranga.

The Transport Agency acknowledges that there have been a number of delays through this area over the past week and apologises for any inconvenience caused.

As the TEL project nears completion works affecting traffic are expected, however the Transport Agency will endeavour to keep impacts to a minimum.

The Transport Agency thanks motorists for their patience and understanding.
