Auckland overnight motorway closures 15 - 21 September

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 20 September.

Central Motorway Junction (SH1 & Sh16)

  • SH16 eastbound to SH1 southbound link, 15 September

Southern Motorway (SH1)

  • Southbound lanes between Greenlane off ramp and Greenlane on ramp, 15 September (approx 11:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
  • Princes Street northbound off ramp, 18 September
  • Papakura northbound (loop) on ramp, 15 September
  • Papakura northbound off ramp, 15 September
  • Papakura southbound off ramp, 16 - 18 September
  • Nikau Road southbound off ramp, 15 September

Northwestern Motorway (SH16)

  • Great North Road eastbound off ramp, 15 - 16 September
  • Te Atatu Road westbound on ramp, 16 - 18 September
  • Te Atatu Road eastbound (loop) on ramp, 19 September
  • Lincoln Road eastbound on ramp, 15 - 18 September
  • Royal Road eastbound on ramp, 15 September
  • Hobsonville Road eastbound on ramp, 15 September
  • Eastbound lanes between Brigham Creek Roundabout and Te Atatu Road on ramp, 15 September
  • Eastbound lanes between Lincoln Road off ramp and Te Atatu Road on ramp, 16 - 18 September
  • Westbound lanes between Te Atatu Road off ramp and Lincoln Road on ramp, 16 - 18 September

Upper Harbour Highway (SH18)

  • SH18 westbound to SH16 eastbound link, 15 September

Southwestern Motorway (SH20)

  • Northbound link between Cavendish Drive on ramp and Puhinui Road, 15 & 17 September
  • Southbound link between Puhinui Road and Cavendish Drive, 16 September
  • Puhinui Road northbound on ramp, 18 - 19 September
  • Puhinui Road southbound off ramp, 19 September
  • Walmsley Road southbound off ramp, 19 September
  • Westbound lanes between Noel Burnside Road and Puhinui Road intersection, 16 September

Puhinui Road (SH20b)

  • Eastbound lanes between Airport Roundabout and Puhinui Road intersection, 18 - 19 September
