Completion of Lambie Drive Bridge delayed by poor weather

The scheduled completion of Lambie Drive Bridge in Manukau has been delayed as a result of bad weather. The bridge was due open to traffic in both directions at 5.00am on Monday morning however road surface works have not been fully completed.

The scheduled completion of Lambie Drive Bridge in Manukau has been delayed as a result of bad weather.  The bridge was due open to traffic in both directions at 5.00am on Monday morning however road surface works have not been fully completed.

Subject to suitable weather the project team are working to complete the work as soon as possible and expect to open the bridge to traffic on Monday 2 March in the early afternoon.

Lambie Drive Bridge is to be part of the Lambie Drive Interchange for the SH20 Manukau Extension Project currently being constructed for NZ Transport Agency by Leighton Works.
