Delays on SH2 Tauranga to Waihi this week as reseal programme continues

|

Motorists are urged to take care on the roads and allow extra time when travelling in the Western Bay of Plenty this week as work on a major reseal programme continues.

The reseal programme will be concentrated on State Highway 2 (SH2) between Tauranga and Waihi this week.

Several sites will be resealed along the highway from Tuesday March 17.

Motorists using this route are advised to expect delays of up to 20 minutes due to the accumulative effect of delays at each site.

Short delays are also expected on Cameron Road, between 15th Ave and 23 Ave, on Saturday March 21 due to the 16th Annual Tauranga Multicultural Festival being held at the Historic Village.

The Transport Agency thanks motorists for their patience and understanding.
