Diary note: Moving the Rob Roy Hotel back

The 125-year-old Rob Roy Hotel in Freemans Bay will be moved back to its original location tomorrow, Tuesday, and Wednesday (12 and 13 April). The move will start at approximately 7.30 am and is expected to take at least two days. Work will finish at approximately 6pm each day.

Because of the intensive construction activity in the vicinity, access to the site is not safe and will now be allowed.  However, there will be a small viewing area off Franklin Road that provides a good vantage point for filming/photography.

The viewing area is marked on the photograph below.

Note that we will have a timelapse camera positioned on a nearby building.  We are happy to make this footage available following the move.
