Feedback sought on safety plans

|

The NZ Transport Agency is seeking feedback on plans to improve safety along two stretches of State Highway 2 (SH2) in the north Waikato.

Safety options, including a central median barrier, turning facilities and bridge and road widening, were presented at an information day at Maramarua last month and members of the public have until July 16 to have their say on the initial options.

The two sections of SH2 are from the SH1 turnoff to the Mangatawhiri Stream, and from just east of Maramarua township to the intersection with SH25.

Options can been seen on the Maramarua highway website(external link) which also contains an online feedback form.

Feedback closes on 16 July 2014.
