Havelock, SH6, Marlborough, re-surfacing this week, line marking Friday

|

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency’s maintenance team Marlborough Roads is completing resurfacing 200 metres of Havelock’s main street (on SH6) today.

The work started earlier this week. Line marking will be reinstated on Friday as part of the maintenance team’s annual summer work.

"In addition to our normal maintenance work due to be completed tomorrow, we have recently spoken with Havelock businesses and the Havelock Community Association about proposed bus stop changes and a proposed pedestrian refuge," says Andrew James, System Manager Top of the South for  Waka Kotahi.

"Around 21 people or groups provided us with feedback," he says. "We are reviewing this feedback and will get back to the Havelock community and submitters in coming months with a summary of views and our decision on any future changes."

Plan ahead for a safe, enjoyable journey. Keep up to date with:
