Motorists advised of delays on State Highway 77 next week

|

Motorists travelling along State Highway 77, from Ashburton to Methven, should expect delays next week.

Work begins Monday (11 August) installing two irrigation pipes under SH77 near Lauriston, south of the Reynolds Road/Pole Road intersection. The work is expected to take four days to complete.

The NZ Transport Agency’s Journey Manager Lee Wright says there will be a detour in place, motorists being directed along Pole Road and connecting back into State Highway 77 at Springfield Road East.

“This detour will on local roads; motorists being advised to take extra care and to expect a  few minutes to be added to their journey times.”
