COVID-19 SERVICES UPDATE: Information on Waka Kotahi services

Night closures of SH45 Morley St between Devon St West and Vivian St from tonight

|

Overnight asphalting works on State Highway 45 Morley Street between Devon Street West and Vivian Street will start tonight (Sunday 24 May).

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises work will be done between 6pm and 6am and will take approximately four nights to complete, weather dependant.

There will be no access to the Morley Street worksite to or from Vivian Street, Powderham Street and Devon Street West, except for residents, while the works are carried out. Sign posted detours will be in place.

At Alert Level 2, significantly more people are using their cars and public transport. It’s important to plan ahead and allow more time for your journeys. Remember to be kind to others, as we all get used to travelling at Alert Level 2.

This work completes the road renewal works undertaken last year.

Waka Kotahi thanks road users and local residents for their patience.

Plan ahead for a safe, enjoyable journey. Keep up to date with:
