Northland state highway maintenance works

The NZ Transport Agency advises people using the state highway network in Northland to be aware of maintenance work at various locations in the region. Speed restrictions and changes in the highway layout may be operating at some of the locations.

Whangarei: highway upgrade at SH1/SH14
Ruakaka roundabout: vegetation control
Kauri: rail overbridge repairs
Glenmohr Road, Brynderwyns: lane marking
Otaika Stream Bridge: repairs
Piano Hill – Puhipuhi: repairs to highway surface
Moerewa: drainage and vegetation maintenance
Pakaraka - Awanui: vegetation control
Kawakawa – Whakapara: tree maintenance
Apotu Road: repairs to highway surface
Piano Hill, Puhipūhi: repairs to highway surface
Te Paki Stream – Te Ahu Road: repairs to highway surface
SH1/10: intersection upgrade
Drainage, vegetation maintenance and road marking at various locations

Pakaraka – Awanui: vegetation control
Kaeo: 50kph speed restriction
Stanners Road: drainage maintenance
Te Ahu Ahu: guardrail maintenance
Te Ahu Ahu Road: right turning bay upgrade
SH10/SH1: intersection upgrade
SH10/SH11 intersection upgrade
Road marking at various locations

Lemons Hill, Opua, Te Haumi, Whangae: 50kph speed restriction – chip loss sites
Waitangi: 70kph speed restriction – chip loss site
SH11/SH10: intersection upgrade
Vegetation spraying at various locations
