Update 3.40pm - The crash scene has been cleared and State Highway 53 through Featherston is now fully open.

State Highway 53 is closed to all traffic at the intersection of Lyon Street in Featherston following a serious crash earlier today.
The incident was reported shortly after 11.30 this morning.
Local detours are in place. Drivers can expect delays when travelling through the area.
The highway will remain closed at the crash site while the Police Serious Crash Unit investigates.
