A section of State Highway 2 just east of Paeroa reopened just after 4.00 pm yesterday.
The closure was needed to allow contractors to remove a truck which rolled off the road prior to the Easter weekend. Originally it was hoped to have the road cleared earlier in the day, however the NZ Transport Agency says the task turned out to be more complex than anticipated.
