SH20 full overnight motorway closure

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closure on the Southwestern Motorway to demolish the old Hastie Avenue footbridge.

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closure on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20) to demolish the old Hastie Avenue footbridge.

• 8pm Sunday 15 March until 5am Monday 16 March - Southbound motorway lanes between Mahunga Drive off-ramp and Walmsley Road on-ramp and northbound motorway lanes between Coronation Road off-ramp and Rimu Road on-ramp.

In the event of bad weather the closure will take place overnight on Monday 16, Tuesday 17 or Wednesday 18 March.

Please follow the signposted detour routes via the Mahunga Drive off-ramp for southbound traffic and Coronation Road off-ramp for northbound traffic.
