SH21 tree removal next week to make way for underpass

|

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises State Highway 21 Airport Road in Tamahere will have temporary traffic management in place with brief closures on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 May for tree removal.

Two trees are being removed to make way for an underpass under SH21 next to Wiremu Tamihana Drive.

Work will take place between 9am and 3pm on both days. During this time the road may be closed for up to five minutes at a time to allow for branches to be cut and removed.

The SH21 underpass, which will be completed by the end of the year, will form part of the Te Awa shared path from Cambridge to Hamilton.

Waka Kotahi thanks motorists for their patience.

Plan ahead for a safe, enjoyable journey this summer. Keep up to date with:
