SH23 chip-sealing starts 16 January

|

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport advises that chip-sealing repair work on State Highway 23 near Raglan will start on the night of Sunday 16 January and last for approximately two weeks.

While crews are working State Highway 23 will be under Stop/Go traffic management and motorists should expect short delays.

The first week crews will be working Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights only. During the second week, starting Monday 24 January, crews will be working during the day.

Drivers should take care when driving over freshly laid chip-seal and obey the temporary speed limits.

Chip-sealing is weather dependant and this work may be delayed if it rains.

Waka Kotahi thanks motorists for their patience.

Plan ahead for a safe, enjoyable journey. Keep up to date with:
