The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise that there is a detour in place on State Highway 2 between Waiotahi and Opotiki, in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. This is due to a truck crash earlier this morning.

The detour is via Paerata Ridge Road, Old Creamery Road, Crooked Road and Hukutaia Road, however, it is not suitable for trucks.
