State Highway 25 Coromandel Peninsula update - one lane now open

The NZ Transport Agency confirms that SH25 at Ruamahunga Bay is now open to one lane of traffic.

A 30km/h speed restriction is in place and the route can only carry one lane of traffic so it is being managed by stop/go traffic control at all times.

NZTA Regional Operations Manager Trevor Fearnley asks that motorists take extra care when traveling through the slip site.

Information on the road conditions in the area can be obtained by phoning 0800 4HIGHWAYS or on the highway information section of the NZTA website.
