The NZ Transport Agency has announced the second round of public engagement for the Ōtaki to north of Levin (Ō2NL) project will begin in February 2018.

The New Zealand Transport Agency is advising commuters that a bus stopwork meeting tomorrow will impact all Valley Flyer, Airport Flyer and Go Wellington bus services in Wellington city and the Hutt Valley between 9am and 2pm.
Due to yesterday’s flooding in Central Otago, State Highway 8 between the Roxburgh Hydro Dam, 9 km north of Roxburgh, and Millers Flat is closed with slips on either side of Roxburgh and in the town itself. The highway is likely to remain closed all day with an update on the NZ Transport Agency’s Traffic and Travel pages later today.

New time-lapse footage released today by the NZ Transport Agency shows the dramatic transformation of one of Christchurch’s busiest intersections*, condensing two years of construction into a two-minute video.
Work has now started on safety improvements which aim to prevent people being killed or seriously injured on State Highway 33 from the Te Ngae Junction to Paengaroa.
