The NZ Transport Agency has published a new classification system aimed at encouraging safer and more efficient use of New Zealand's 11,000 kilometre state highway network.
The team that maintain the state highways in the south west Waikato received three prestigious industry accolades recently for the significant contribution that the contract has made to the advancement of asset management internationally.
The NZ Transport Agency reports that all state highways in Christchurch are now open, with the Anzac Bridge on SH 74 cleared for traffic earlier this evening.
