The most direct route through the Far North is now open to all vehicles except those over dimension, with extensive repair work on State Highway 1 in the Mangamuka Gorge almost complete.
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 11 June 2021.
