The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements and maintenance. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed on or before the contingency date.
NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) advises that works being undertaken on the section of State Highway 1 between Victoria Road (SH1B) and Hall Street will involve some lane closures each day between 9am and 9pm from Monday 9 February until Friday 13 February.
Work to restore Eureka Bend on SH60 Takaka Hill will begin after Waitangi Weekend bringing the highway back to its full two-lane capacity by the middle of this year.
