The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise that, weather permitting, the following closures will take place on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20) next week.
The New Zealand Transport agency is advising motorists that the closure of right-hand turns at the intersection of SH2 and Moonshine Rd will come into effect on Monday, 4 August at 10.00am.
Auckland Harbour Bridge box girder strengthening starts this Sunday (3 August). The box girders (the two 'clip-on' lanes either side of the bridge) are being strengthened to enable the bridge to continue meeting the needs of the growing Auckland region.
The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) is formally established from today (1 August), combining the functions and expertise of Land Transport NZ and Transit New Zealand.
