The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) will begin public consultation on the Mackays to Peka Peka Expressway this Sunday (28 November 2010). Consultation will run for ten weeks, until Friday 4 February 2011.
The NZ Transport Agency has today announced the details of an extended consultation period for the MacKays to Peka Peka Expressway, following the NZTA Board's consideration at its meeting today of a more detailed route proposal.
The NZ Transport Agency is set to begin investigating options to improve the Ngauranga to Aotea Quay section of the Wellington Northern Corridor road of national significance, following its awarding of the contract for the project.
The NZ Transport Agency expects to announce the new consultation timeline for the MacKays to Peka Peka Expressway on 19 November, following its scheduled Board Committee meeting on 18 November, and expects to begin an extended consultation period approximately 10 days afterwards.
