NZ Transport Agency Regional Director Jenny Chetwynd has welcomed the Wellington City Council's reconfirmation of support this evening for the Ngauranga to Airport Corridor Plan.
Wellington's new Wellington Traffic Operations Centre opened today to improve highway operations and keep motorists better informed with up-to-the-minute travel information including road works, accidents and the latest weather conditions.

The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) is to remove the current T2 lane restrictions along Mana Esplanade and replace them clearways, together with new traffic signals at the Marina View intersection. This follows the Environment Court's approval of a consent order to enable these changes to proceed.
