Northland

A total of $991 million is forecast to be invested in Northland in the 2024-27 National Land Transport Programme (NLTP) period.
Investment in Northland during the 2024-27 NLTP is targeted at strengthening the region’s connections to key markets and building economic growth and prosperity.
The $991 million forecast investment includes:
- $258m forecast maintenance operations investment
- $458m forecast to fix potholes investment
- $243m forecast improvements investment
- $18m forecast public transport investment
- $4m forecast safety investment
- $6.9m forecast walking and cycling investment
