During September and October 2021, we sought public feedback on how best to address the highest-risk sites through the Waioeka Gorge. We wanted to know which sites you thought are most concerning, and if you had any comments/ideas about these sites that we should consider when planning our solutions. Additionally, we also wanted to know what you thought about safety when driving through the Gorge.
The business case is expected to be completed late-2022 where it will be put forward for endorsement and then funding before moving to the pre-implementation phase.
