Implementation of the Asset Management Data Standard (AMDS) is led by Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs). This recognises that RCAs are different and have individual operating environments. It also provides RCAs with flexibility around how they manage their AMDS implementation.
As with other transport activities, NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi will part fund the costs of implementing the AMDS into each RCA from the National Land Transport Fund.
