There are currently three toll roads: the Northern Gateway Toll Road north of Auckland, and the Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road and the Takitimu Drive Toll Road, both in Tauranga.
Electronic toll collection uses sophisticated cameras and sensors to capture an image of your vehicle’s registration plate and assigns the correct toll.
A toll is charged each time the toll road is used. The amount you pay depends on the type of vehicle you’re driving.
