Waka Kotahi has developed a new dashboard with a GIS (geospatial) map that presents an alternative visualisation of the status of state highways across the areas impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle - Northland, Waikato, Hawkes Bay, Gisborne. The new tool, released on 20 March 2023, as a BETA (test) product, includes a dashboard (with the same information from our pdf maps below), and an interactive GIS map with various layers and links for more information.

The maps show what state highway access is available for the regions that have been affected by Cyclone Gabrielle together with the status of some key local authority roads.
