Complete this application if:

you're a trailer manufacturer, and
you're not registered with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) as a motor vehicle trader, and
you want to complete registration and change of registered person transactions on behalf of your customers.

If approved, we'll authorise you to sight ID like motor vehicle traders do. You can only do this in connection to a sale and when the registered person has given you permission to do so.

If you don't have an official NZTA customer number, you need to apply for that first.
