The Belfast to Pegasus Motorway and Woodend Bypass Road of National Significance (RoNS) project design is in full swing. Detailed design of the four-lane motorway and bypass got underway in March 2025. Construction funding of an early works package has been approved, and work is scheduled to begin in early 2026.
