North Island
- One week of night closures for State Highway 2, Remutaka Hill, begin this Sunday. Original plans to run a second week of night closures has been cancelled. However, the five-night closure starting this Sunday, 3 September will still go ahead

- There will be asphalt resurfacing and road marking underway at various locations on State Highway 1 and State Highway 2 over the coming week (details below). The work is being done at night when traffic volumes are lighter to minimise disruption. Closures are planned and detours will be in place. However, some travel delays are likely and road users should plan their journeys accordingly.
South Island
- There will be night closures on State Highway 6, Whakatu Drive for up to ten nights between 17 and 29 September. This is to allow for asphalting work on the Link Road roundabout and the Link Road extension.
- Travellers going through Picton need to be aware of ongoing work on Dublin Street. A closure is in place until approximately March 2025, while a new overbridge and other infrastructure is built. More details can be found on the Marlborough District Council website.
