Nighttime Stop/Go this Wednesday night for State Highway 60 Ruby Bay Bypass safety barrier works

|

Drivers travelling between Motueka and Nelson can expect short delays on Wednesday night (27 March) as contractors complete line marking on this safety improvements project.

Work crews are set to finish installing the right-turn bay at the State Highway 60/Tasman View Road intersection ahead of schedule.

Weather permitting, it is hoped to be finished and the intersection re-opened this Thursday (28 March).

Line marking of the right-turn bay needs to be completed. This will be done at night under stop/go traffic management on Wednesday night (27 March) between 7 pm and 5 am.

It will be in place about 500 metres on either side of the Tasman View Road intersection.

Drivers should plan for up to 10 minutes of delays when travelling through the work site. For their safety and that of our contractors, please follow the temporary speed limit of 30 km/h.

During Easter weekend and Anzac Day, temporary traffic management will still be in place along Ruby Bay Bypass on State Highway 60. Those using the highway over the holiday weekend should factor it into their travel plans.
