State Highway 8 at Pleasant Point, near Timaru, will be closed from Khan Street to Tengawai Road on Saturday, November 7 for the Pleasant Point Gymkhana/Get to the Point event.
The detour route, which will be in place all day 8 am to 5 pm, is via Tengawai Road to Greig St, Halstead Road, Munro St and Harris St.
The Transport Agency thanks all drivers for slowing down on the detour route.
