The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists that State Highway 35 between Waiau Road and Arero Road is closed due to a serious crash
Police are at the scene and the road could be closed for up to eight hours.
Motorists should delay their journey, or use State Highway 2 via Waioeka Gorge, which will add significant time to their journey.
