A stretch of State Highway 35 north of Gisborne will remain closed until further notice following a crash earlier today.
Police are currently at the scene of the crash at Whangara.
The road is currently closed between Pa Road and Panikau Road while emergency services remain at the scene.
There is no detour in place.
