Stop/go traffic controls are no longer in place and the road is fully open. However, a 30km/h temporary speed limit applies at the works site.

People travelling between Wairarapa and Wellington should add extra time to their travel plans this afternoon and evening.
Road crews are undertaking urgent inspection and maintenance works on the Featherston side of Remutaka Hill.
Stop/go traffic controls and a 30 km/h speed limit will be in place from 4pm while contractors carry out site works.
Drivers can expect short delays when travelling through the affected area.
