Strategic activity management is the systematic and coordinated activities and practices that deliver services to state highway customers. This is delivered through cost effective lifecycle management of infrastructure assets and the provision of associated services. This includes setting the strategic direction, establishing levels of service, forecasting future demand, monitoring asset performance and condition and lifecycle decision making frameworks. And is supported by investment planning, management systems, information systems and tools, service delivery models, service audits and continuous improvement.
