NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is reminding motorists of upcoming planned closures on State Highway 1 (SH1) between Silverdale and Warkworth this week to carry out road resurfacing and other maintenance activities.
Drivers in Auckland are urged to take extra care on the Auckland Harbour Bridge tomorrow (Tuesday 17 September) with strong southwest wind gusts predicted between 9am and 9pm.

NZTA can confirm that one lane southbound is now open on State Highway 1 between Bombay and Ramarama. A temporary 50 km/h speed restriction is in place along this section.
As part of Stage 1A of the SH1 Papakura to Drury project, all new lanes on SH1 between Papakura interchange and the motorway service centre south of Park Estate Road bridge are now fully open.
