You must not tow a trailer while you’re on a learner or restricted licence.
Once you have your full licence, you can tow a light trailer (up to 3500kg when loaded). It must have a WoF. To meet the WoF standard your trailer must be in good condition (no rust around safety areas) and in good working order.
Towing with a motorcycle, even when fitted with a towing connection, can be complex. The additional weight and dynamics will alter the handling of your motorcycle.
