People walking can now cross the road safely at the Thomas and Horsham Downs roundabout.
Hamilton City Council upgraded the roundabout by adding raised pedestrian crossing on all approaches of the existing roundabout, meaning people driving through the area approach the roundabout at speeds better suited for people walking.
New warning lights and road markings also add better visibility to make it safer for people accessing residential areas and the surrounding busy shopping area.
