The NZ Transport Agency will make a decision late Tuesday afternoon on whether it is safe or not to re-open State Highway 1 on the Brynderwyn Hills in Northland.
With sleety showers, hail and snow forecast for Banks Peninsula and the Port Hills tonight, the NZ Transport Agency is urging motorists to take extreme care on Canterbury roads during the next few days.
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated.
